Marc Sacco grew up in the suburbs of Buffalo, NY. As a child, while the neighborhood boys were wreaking havoc in the streets, he was often “forced” by his older sister to perform dance routines for their parents in the backyard. As a young adult, instead of suppressing these memories, he decided to utilize them and received his BFA in Theatre from Niagara University. After college, Marc traveled through 38 of the 50 nifty United States on the National Tours of Damn Yankees and Dragon Tales Live!, which his mother refers to as “the one where you played a dancing tree.” While this may be true, he would like to assure you that the paycheck was well worth it.Marc (with a “C”) is a 6-time Artvoice Theatre Award nominee, and received the Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Musical award for his turn as Mark (with a “K”) in the MusicalFare production of Altar Boyz. He also conceived and performed in two cabaret acts at Buffalo United Artists, entitled Marc with a “C”, and Marc with a “C”quel. Marc now resides in North Buffalo, which he refers to as NoBu.
